L’Argentiere hosts an international ice climbing event each year, normally in the first week of January. It attracts hundreds of ice climbers from all over Europe . Minibuses are laid on to provide access to the main ice climbing sites and taster sessions are also organised for adults and the older children. In the evenings, there are films, talks and displays. L’Argentiere is really busy during this week.
